The book I read this summer was Black and White by Paul Volponi.
My first choice of a research topic was underage kids breaking the law. There
are “In a single year, 522 children under age 14 were arrested for driving
while intoxicated, (113 of them were under 10 years old).” Teenagers drink alcohol;
about 70% of them drink alcohol. I argue this topic.
My second topic is teens throwing away scholarships. They either
throw it away by bad grades or breaking the law. My book stresses that topic,
by describing the two main characters, how they throw it away by breaking the
law.
